1973 - Installation - Joseph Beuys - "I Like America, America Likes Me"

Installation - Joseph Beuys - "I Like America, America Likes Me" at Rene Block Gallery; New York, NY
RV was the assistant, installer, and security for the installation. The Installation was a very historical exhibition and was the beginning of Conceptual Art in SoHo. The Installation was a Cage with Artist Joseph Beuys and a Coyote, both in the Cage. The Coyote in this installation represents Germany and Joseph represented America and the relationship between the two. Two powers, hostile toward one another, forced to coexist and eventually begin a dialog.
